In 2025, Oscar graduated from the University of Leeds with a First-Class Master’s degree in Astrophysics. After university, he took on a part-time role in IT, which strengthened his technical skillset and gave him the opportunity to deliver a large‑scale project. When exploring his next career step, Oscar was keen to apply the analytical and problem‑solving skills developed during his studies and transitioned into financial services to tackle real‑world challenges.
Now working as a Data Analyst, Oscar is enjoying the chance to immerse himself in a new industry and deepen his understanding of the finance sector. He currently supports Tom Barsby in developing KPI processes, providing back-office support, and delivering data‑driven insights to assist advisers. Looking ahead, he plans to undertake professional qualifications to further solidify his experience within the industry.
Outside of work, Oscar is a keen sportsman and enjoys both watching and playing rugby, golf and tennis. Alongside colleagues, he is also preparing to complete the Three Peaks Challenge in support of The Change Foundation.
